Not sure if there’s a right way to tighten, but I have a rectangle so I started on the short ends and then went to the middle and worked out on the long ends. My main goal was to make sure that there was balance. I didn‘t want a spring on one side being very tight and not have any tension on the spring on the opposing side of the same strap, if you know what I mean.Thanks- plan to tighten things up a bit this weekend. Any order I need to go t o tighten? Start in the corners or center and work out?
