We don't use LSI, we use CSI. Use poolmath (Link-->
PoolMath) to track your results and additions, enable track temperature and CSI and it will calculate it for you.
Your CSI is .32 For SWCG, we recommend -.3 to 0. Your cell is likely creating calcium scale.
1) I'd get a salt test kit. Taylor K-1766 or this...https://tftestkits.net/TF-Salt-Bundle-p132.html
2) I'd recommend that you lower your TA and pH. Good threads for you. Getting your TA down to 70 would make your CSI = -.05.
A lower Total Alkalinity level can help a pool owner stabalize their pH increase. We'll explain how to lower TA with a little help from muriatic acid.

Thought I'd make a post that might help others. We've had quite a few members this year with high TA, and I've been typing the same information over and over. I'm going to post this so I can link it to help others. High TA can cause rapid pH rise. High TA is typically caused by high TA fill...

3) You might also consider borates.
I'm seeing calcium flakes coming from the returns, most likely being generated in the SWG cell. I collected some flakes this morning with the net and they tested positive for calcium (MA drops test). The flakes are soft and dissolve on contact. Test results: FC: 8 CC: 0 pH: 7.6 (Ranges from...
