Is this algae or pollen

My Chlorine level was normal and FC was 6 and combined chlorine is 0 and PH was 7.6

But the pool was green tint after a rain.

My pool is black plaster so hard to tell what color the pool water is other than cloudy.

But my pool filter is green that comes off with a hose


Algae or pollen?

You can't have a "normal chlorine" level and a FC of 0 ... FC is the chlorine level and 0 is not "normal"

Looks like algae to me.
Do the Overnight Chlorine Loss Test and likely you should follow the SLAM Process process.

Combined choline was 0 and Free chlorine is 6

The FC never went below 3 I have been keeping it a little lower than normal because I got this dolphin robot and it recommended 5

I usually kept it at 7

I went ahead and slammed it and will take a reading tonight and check tomorrow for loss.

No reason to run lower FC because of the robot. You have CYA in the water. Your active chlorine is in the tenths of a ppm. Well below what they state (there FC range is with 0 CYA).

The question is how long was your FC below 4. FC/CYA Levels
The minimum FC for a CYA of 50 is 4ppm.
Your pool sanitation plan is too close to the edge in my opinion.

It’s been about 2 weeks that I have kept it at around 5 I check the pool every other day and the lowest it was was around 2-3

Normally I kept it at 7

I will keep it there going forward.

I did slam it with lvl 20 which is what the website pool math says ...

Nope. you let the FC level get too low and need to fully follow the SLAM Process process to completion and then keep the FC above the minimum at all times.

Went ahead and drained 1/3 of the water and filled with tap

CYA is 30
FC was 20 last night around 8 pm
Woke up before sunrise and FC was 19 and CC <.5 and water is clear
