You can now swim in the pool at Hearst Castle, but it's not cheap

Lady Gaga, Charlie Chaplin and Clarke Gable all swam there. Now, you can too.

Probably because it's the Hearst Castle and was owned by Randolph Hearst...

William Randolph Hearst lived there but the castle was never finished before he died in 1951.
I remember touring it 30 years ago and I thought the tour guide said he never lived there, but that turned out to be not true. His wife never lived there. His mistress lived with him there and it was given to her as an inheritance when he died.
