It's not a bond wire, it is a supplemental ground.I believe all bonding wires are to be solid 8 awg or larger.
Bonds and grounds are not intentionally connected, but they will connect in multiple places where a piece of equipment is both bonded and grounded.Check to make sure you are not connecting the bonded equipment to any electrical grounds. Ground circuits and bonding should not connect.
Pump motors, light niches, subpanels, SWGs etc. are all bonded and grounded, which means that the bonding and grounding system are connected through the chassis of all bonded and grounded equipment.
The light niche is bonded and grounded.
You really can't avoid it, and it is not a problem.
