So I'm looking at my 18ft. round above ground pool and I notice that there is rust forming along the bottom of the wall near the rail. It's spotty rust but it's pretty much all around the pool.
I'm upset because I think this is the end. Any thoughts or opinions? How bad is this?
It could be the beginning of the end but I don’t think it’s quite so dire just yet.
You may want to attempt to “reform” the spots as best you can. There’s lots of posts with varying opinions about the best way to treat surface rust on walls. So do a quick search
I would sweep the rocks completely away to keep the area as dry as possible.
Have you had a leak?
Or does rain water collect in that area?
