Is my Pentair iCHLOR 30 wired correctly? UPDATE

As you can see in the attached pic, nothing is attached to the Com Port you described.

Could it be this simple: I get the proper cable, plug it into the Pump Com Port and a matching port inside the control center? Meaning once it is attached, it will do the job and not need some sort of programming?

Reason i ask, knowing the installing dealer, they will push back on making it right. I will try them in the morning, but fully expect to get the "that's they way we do all of them - can't believe anything you read on the Internet..."

And if I can do it myself, where to source and find proper part number?

Thank you all again for your help!

PS I have all of the Pentair manuals downloaded and stored as PDF files...

Can you show a picture of the lower barcode label on the motor?

Can you show a picture of the label on the power center?

The pump should have come with the communication cable.

Ask the installer to give you the cable so that you can install it or have them do it right like it should have been done.

An RS-485 communication cable is provided with the pump and will be used to connect the pump to a Pentair automation system.

If they did not leave the cable, they owe you a cable.

Installing the cable is part of the installation.

Not having the cable is a safety hazard.

They need to return and finish the installation by installing the cable at no additional charge.

Pentair 350122 Communication cable comes with the pump. They owe you a $40 cable.

Tell them to RTM and get up to date on the new feature added to the iChlor.

You need to check your iChlor Power Center and see that it is the new model that has this feature and not old stock. We have seen some things that are in Pentair manuals and are not yet in the hardware being sold.

UPDATE
With all of your help today I think I have this figured out.
First, the cable. I found the pictured cable attached to this message with all of the pool stuff. Still shrink-wrapped in plastic. Looks like the connector one one end, and the ready to be cut/stripped Yellow/Green wires on the other end. After reviewing the SWG Power Supply diagram, and taking a pic of its interior (also attached) looks like I might be good to go. Turn power off at breakers. Connect to the pump, attach Yellow/Green to the correct terminals and done?

Sound right?MyCable.jpgSWG_PS_INT.jpg
