Is my Nautilus CC+ a lemon?

I need some help from the hive mind. In February 2022 I purchased a Nautilus CC+. In the beginning I loved it. IT ran great, the scheduler was awesome, and even without the fines filters, it kept me sparkling. By mid-summer, I began having problems. It would intermittently not run, would start up and then stop, and was just "glitchy". I tried off and on for a few weeks to troubleshoot it, and even try factory resetting and starting over. No real luck. Biggest thing I notice is it will not connect to wifi, or hold a wifi connection. Can only be used with BT, but that run stops if I get out of range once initiated. Over that fall, after the summer hub-bub settled down, I spent some time trying to resolve warranty work. After weeks of no response from Maytronics, I found a local dealer/servicer, and took it in for service. Of course being a Saturday, the tech wasn't in, so it was tagged and left. Couple weeks go by, and nothing, so I call. Find out it hadn't even been looked at, just set in a corner. Speak to tech, get the ball rolling. After about week 5, I get a call that it is ready. I can't drive the hour that day, but wife agrees to, and picks it up for me. They had replaced the power unit, and sent it on its way. Get home, and couldn't sync it to the app, because it isn't recognized, and there's no QR code on the unit to scan either, which is odd. It's dead weight at this point.

I'm pretty sure they gave a refurbished unit, but obviously I don't know. It's clear that they didn't treat it as a warranty work because they gave my wife a $500 bill for the work, that I didn't find out about until later. Finally in like October, Maytronics gets back to me (after 5 months of emailing and trying to initiate). They agree to service it, I package the thing up, mail it back, 4-6 weeks later, get a note that there was water intrusion in the cable, but it's been fixed and seems to run. They also add 6 months to my warranty (which did add all of this swim season we are starting). Set it up, and it works great for a couple weeks. Now more of the same. Generally will not connect to wifi (everything in and around my pool equipment works fine with strong signal. It never even can find the signal when scanning.

My question to the group is have you all been disappointed with your Nautilus or did I just get a lemon? I'm asking because I've noticed heavy failure rates on lots of things manufactured during 2021-2022 timeframe, to include vehicles and the like. This may be the case. I think during that time QA just was "non-essential" or at least done by WFH personnel.

So I'm planning to replace this cleaner, and trying to decide if I 1) go a different brand of powered, and start fresh, 2) give Maytronics a second chance despite this experience and the demonstrated lack of customer attention, or 3) add an actuator and T and switch to a pump side Polaris (the pool is preplumbed for one from the pool wall all the way to a capped stub by my equipment).

I have had mine since 2017. I had a problem with it once that Maytronics quickly repaired. Granted I do not use the wifi or scheduling. Those options were a fun toy at first, but basically I just needed a robot to clean my pool, so I stopped using those options. Now I throw it in the pool, turn it on, come back in two hours, pull it out, clean the filters, and put it away. It has worked flawlessly.

Yes, it is a terrible wall cleaner. But then what robot is a good wall cleaner.
No, it does not clean the stairs very well. But then what robot does clean stairs well.

But it does a GREAT job of cleaning the floor which is what I bought it for. I am hoping that yours is just a lemon.
