Is high TA a bad thing if you don't have issues

My TA is currently 210. It's been high for quite some time. I don't have any issues with scaling or anything, and my water is crystal clear. My pH is good, and everything seems normal. I've been trying to lower my TA using pH down and aeration. Question is, if I'm not having issues usually seen with high TA, do I even need to lower it?

Welcome to the forum!
There is no reason to force TA lower if your pH is not rising quickly or you are in a scaling tendency region.
Do be ware that pH down (dry acid) is not recommended as it adds sulfates to your pool water which can damage metals and/or concrete/plaster.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.
