Intex SWG " why does this work!" Fixed the SWG error 91!

I have tried soaking my titanium plates and it didn't work. Found this video and it's getting my SWG to produce chlorine again.
Two questions:
Why does this work?
How long before switching the plug back to normal? If ever?
Oh my salt water test has my salt content at 4000 currently.
Fc is zero, still adding bleach daily to stop growth from happening.

Switching the plug reversed the polarity of the cell.

Each of the two polarities uses half of the cells capacity. The SWG controller is supposed to switch automatically but it looks like it was stick on one polarity that was not working.

Flipping the plug turned on the other polarity.

I think if you go back to "normal" you will go back to the half the cell that is dead.

This will work for a while until this polarity side of the cell dies.

After 2 years and fiddling with the Intex SWG just to get it to work on any continual basis, I retired it and moved over to a Cirupool. One of the best choices I have made. Zero issues...
