Intex Robot getting stuck in corner

Im looking for some suggestions on keeping Intex robot from getting stuck like Austin Powers between my pool wall and Confer 7200 pool ladder. Last year I tried to zip tie 1 1/2" PVC 45 degree off the base of ladder but the robot eventually jumps the PVC.

That is a common problem.

Someone made a frame out of 1" PVC that goes around the bottom and both sides then attached it to the ladder with SS hose clamps. That works very well and cured the problem. It's also very cheap and easy to make. - Polaris getting stuck behind ladder

The K12330 for Letro cleaners, or the G-21 Ladder Guard set from Zodiac (Polaris) may work on your steps. Hayward also makes a ladder guard. - Pool Cleaner Gets Stuck Under Ladder
