Intex pump switch replacement?

Hello all,
Many thanks for all the great info here, absolutely a gold mine of knowledge.
Set up a 12' Intex for my son in 2016. After lurking and reading a bunch here, replaced the goofy cartridge filter/pump with a 14" Intex sand filter, 1650 pump, and a separate SWG unit.
Awesome crystal clear pool with the 'oversize' filter. Don't anyone ever question changing to salt water set up, they work great.

At closing last fall, the pump wouldn't run and so it got put away without the last backflush as serious freezing temps were emanate that night.
I just pulled it out of storage and found the problem is the factory rocker switch frozen up.
First action was to come here to research the issue, finding several threads with the same problem.
Most suggestions are to forget the built in switch and use other timer and gfi, etc.
There is mention of a Hayward switch but the pic shows only 2 terminals, not 3. Of the few rocker switches I saw, none had the waterproof cover.

First I would like to confirm if anyone has ever found a direct replacement that fits (in the waterproof housing) without modification?
This is the little problem rocker:
Intex Pump Problem

I don't mind improvement modifications but right now I would like to go simple, easy, direct replacement.
Save the modifications for when we set up the 9'x18' in June ;-)

Sincere thanks,
Dave

PS: thanks for the great thread & video on deep cleaning the sand, I had thought of trying something like that but wasn't sure. Definite on the list before opening.

Thanks for the bump kimkats. I guess no one has found a direct replacement.
Why should Intex sell a replacement switch for a few bucks when they can just sell you a whole new pump?

For temporary I connected the switch wires with a jumper and am using the GFI on the end of the cord for a switch.
At least it got the system running so we can do an initial vac and clean before doing a deep clean of the sand filter.

I know someone has to make a 3 position switch that will fit because that size hole is pretty standard. Just haven't found one yet.

Thanks again, Dave

I recently had my rocker switch stop working. I took my switch out of the housing, pulled the rubbery covering off (yes, I *accidentally* discovered that could be done!), bought this switch from amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B073HRD7DS?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title) and put the rubber covering on it, put it back in & voila! Works great & under $6. 4E15F5C9-802F-428C-8BD0-D4C60988F18B.jpg

That switch was out of stock.
This is a pack of 5

Hardwire it to bypass the switch and put it on an outdoor timer. You may need to cut off the GFCI on the cord as the timer may trip it when it kicks on. So *be sure* the circuit you plug it into is GFCI protected.
