Intex Pool In Trouble

How is it doing this year?
I would second the suggestion to go with a frame pool that can be left up year round (we have a 4000gal block of ice for about 2-3mths :D ) They are super easy to maintain and might cost "less" then the chemicals and refill process for the inflatable rings (at the bonus of a bigger pool!)
And the ice doesn’t wreck the pool? Is it hard to maintain? Last pool guy I hired dropped the extension cord to the shop vac in the water. I stopped him right before he was going to step into the water to fish it out. It was still plugged in!

You guys are so nice and helpful! Thank you! I did hire someone who was using my shop vac. He pulled it to the other side of the pool and the extension cord came unplugged from the vacuum and dropped in the water. It was still plugged into the outlet in my shed. I kid you not...this young man went to step into the water to grab the live cord and I jumped up and yelled HO WHOA! STOP! He looks at me puzzled. I think I asked him if he wanted to die. He says HUH? I said the cord is plugged in. Then...wait for it...pause...OH WOW! There’s that lightbulb i was looking for! That was kind of the end for both of us. I paid him his $100 and finished the job myself. It’s not to bad. I’m almost clear! Having trouble getting in now cuz I broke two toes saving a computer monitor from hitting the floor. I’m going to get some plugs and hook up a one in and one out set up. Hoping that fixes it. That tip about gravity fed sure did help! Thanks everyone!!
