sorry about replying so late to your question but i've had to undergo back surgery late last year and i have not been really into the pool forums as of late but if you are still wondering i got the first plastic ladder earlier from pool bargains and the metal one from amazon that i have now.
thank you. i'm getting around pretty good and hope to start enjoying the pool with the kids soon. i had to have open heart surgery after suffering a stroke at the end of 2010 so i've been unable to really enjoy the pool with my 5 grandkids but hopefully that will change!
I had admired your deck last year, and now that the wife as approved funds for a deck of our own, please don't mind me while I wander around your pics with a tape measure....
i hope your deck gives you as much enjoyment as mine has! i have put up some moonrays solar lights and a few others i got from amazon along with some tiki masks with lights. the grandkids really like them! :-D here are some pics.....19752.jpg[/attachment:2svuarxf]22821.jpg[/attachment:2svuarxf]41992.jpg[/attachment:2svuarxf]
here are some nite shots.....1102.jpg[/attachment:1or0b2cu]4969.jpg[/attachment:1or0b2cu]24129.jpg[/attachment:1or0b2cu]
solar lights are great! they give off just enough light to create a nice soft glow on the deck and great visual efect without drawing attention from the neighbors!
Nice additions- love how the color of the Tiki just seem to light right up at night with the flash reflecting off them. I like the idea of using solar so you don't have to run wires & the 2 dozen other headaches that come along for the ride.
thanks for the comments. i am going to put up a solar spotlight to shine some light on the tiki mask at nite. the grandkids really enjoyed the tikis!
solar spotlight lights up the tiki mask......kids love it :-D25238.jpg[/attachment:1dhld97r]26899.jpg[/attachment:1dhld97r]28003.jpg[/attachment:1dhld97r]
