Intex Above Ground Pool Bowing Concerns

The water pressure will push them back out as it rises.

Yes! It just appears the bars have no room to give.

It will straighten out as it fills. The last 2 inches of water will straighten it right up!
They look okay. A lot of people post with the same question when filling one of these pools.
As long as the ground under the pool is LEVEL, you should be fine.

I had the same panic attack even when I read about it before I started filling! The straighten out and it is so very satisfying!!!
Why would you need to do that? They will straighten out assuming your base is level.
Did it fix itself with the water level? We are filling ours and it looks just like yours did and we are getting mighty nervous!
I also am installing a 12x22x48in Bestway. Mine is also bowing a bit after adding about 8 inches of water. The bowing is not too bad. My question is, how level does the pool have to be? After filling with 8 inches of water, the rectangular/oval pool is two inches deeper on one end of the rectangle. Should I be concerned? Thanks in advance!
How high should I fill mine? To the top of the checkered pattern?

Top of the pattern should be good. Do you have an in wall skimmer? If so, I would fill to 1/2 inch from the top of the skimmer. Then watch your pump basket to make sure it stays full. My skimmer is a bit picky. Too full and it doesn’t skim well, too shallow and my pump sucks air to the basket. Watch it and you will figure out your sweet spot.
