Intelllichlor IC40 no salt level or flow lights

I have an IC40 that’s about 5 years old, recently stopped producing chlorine. Diagnostic mode shows the usage at 20%, water temp at 90. Unit doesn’t seem to be producing but the cell light is green and sanitizer lights are on. I changed the flow switch but the salt level and flow lights are off, they work because they’ll light up during the diagnostic.

Does it need replaced? I can’t find anything in the manual’s about no lights.

Most cells last 5 to 7 years..

NOTHING will work unless you have a good flow light.. And without a flow light, your salt tests will not work.

Turn the power to the cell off and then back on.. Tell me if the Salt lights flash back and forth like a railroad crossing lights.

Not sure what is wrong, but the flow light should either be red for no flow or green for good flow. Even if you put the new flow switch in wrong, if should not make the flow light turn off.

Same for the salt lights.. They should either be green or red but not off..

At 5 years old, I'd be looking for another cell.

I would suggest bypassing the flow switch to test --
Color of the wires differ depending on if you have a 3 wire or 4 wire flow switch.

They all light up when I run the diagnostic check.

Over 6 years old. Likely time for a new one.

A green Cell light means that it is working.

It might just be a burned out green salt LED.

Do you see hydrogen bubbles when the Cell light is on?

Set the cell to 60% and then watch the cell light to see if it stays on for 159 second and then off for 141 seconds and then back on for 159 seconds.

Check the power usage by checking the amperage when the Cell light is on.

It should be about 150 to 200 watts.
