I saw an old thread about this but nothing recently so figured I would ask. I have a new pool with a waterfall and bubbler controlled by the pentair intellicenter and intelllivalve. If I turn on the waterfall or bubbler independently they work just fine but if I try to turn them both on at the same time (ie turn on waterfall then bubbler) the one that was turned on first shuts off. In the example above the valve would move to turn on the waterfall then when I also turn on the bubbler the valve completely turns to shut off the waterfall and only have the bubbler even though both say they are on. Pool company was just out and said there is no way to be able to run them both independently and also at the same time. Does that sound accurate? I swear previously we had this functionality. The way he has it set up now is that the waterfall will run by itself and if the bubbler is turned on (even by itself) both the bubbler and waterfall turn on.

10,

The builder is correct.

You can manually turn a 3-way valve to three different positions. Automation can only move the valve to two different positions.

You really have a plumbing issue and not an automation. If they had plumbed the system with two 2-way valves, like it should have been done, then you could have one or the other water feature working, or with both valves opened, you could have both water features working.

Thanks,
