I did not get a good picture of my connector prior to repair, but my burned pins were similar to Flying TiVo except it was only the pin on the red wire connections.

Here's mine. I think the black pins are turning dark because of the heat from the red pin connectors, I don't think they are actually overheating. And it makes sense that the hottest pin seems to be the feed side of the power supply. You can see mine was pretty well melted together. Required 2 pair of channel lock pliers (adjustable pliers) and some persuasion, to get it to come apart.
