IntelliFloXF 022056 Availability

The IntelliFlo XF and IntelliPro XF are the same pump other than the color and I would use either for the Infinity edge and the water features.

For filtration, an IntelliFlo VSF or IntelliFlo3 would be acceptable but the XF is preferred.
After investigating further, it seems the IntelliFlo/Pro and IntelliFlo 3/Pro 3 pumps are branded under Sta-Rite. Did Pentair buy the company? I'm a bit concerned about buying a pump not designed and manufactured by Pentair.

Maybe just call and check availability yourself and then have them hold three for your builder to pickup or you can pick them up if your builder has an account.

One location can usually check availability for other locations.

PB checked w/SCP (NPT deals w/Tile & Hardscapes) - no availability at any of those locations.

Pentair acquired Sta-Rite in 2004. You must have missed the memo.

All Sta-Rite products are clones of Pentair products in black instead of almond and different shapes.

Any memos prior to June 2021 when I started on this long and winding road were most likely missed. Thanks for the edification. Just curious, would you have no qualms about purchasing a Stay-Rite IntelliPro XF over a Pentair IntelliFlo XF, if the latter was not available?

Thanks to everyone for enlightening me. I've asked them to check availability based on this list (but not holding my breath):
  1. IntelliFlo XF VSF 022056
  2. IntelliPro XF VSF 023056
  3. IntelliFlo VSF 011056
  4. IntelliPro VSF 013004
  5. IntelliFlo3 VSF 011075
  6. IntelliPro3 VSF 013075
I now know Pentair pumps have a 011 or 022 prefix and Sta-Rite have a 013 or 023 prefix.

The IntelliPro VSF is based on the Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro, so all models are not exactly the same.

In any case, the performance looks ok, so it's acceptable if that's all they have.
