IntelliCenter2 new panel not working

On Add New Account - remove your address. They don't need to know it. Put in your email, name, and password and press the check on the upper right. See if it asks for anything else. Give it the minimum they require.

It almost looks to me like you are registered under that email.

Do the Internet Connection Test on the outdoor panel.

See page 85 in https://www.pentair.com/content/dam...als---user-docs/intellicenter-users-guide.pdf

Do not do "Connect to Wireless Network"

If using the Pentair High Power Wireless Link kit skip to the Internet Connection Test. It should show you are connected. Then register the user using the OCP.

I did the internet test and it’s good.

It seems to me that all of your IntelliCenter2 hardware is working correctly. You have networking and an Internet connection and can communicate with the panel.

You are now wrestling with the Pentair software and it's account registration process which is not well documented. It often takes some trial and error and trying different things to get it happy and register the account.

Do not let any Pentair techs fiddle with your hardware setup and mess it up. That is NOT your problem.

Ok, I did what u said and it just created the account… now what..thank you

That all looks good.

The app is communicating with the panel. It knows you have a pump and the air temp is 55F.

Things are working fine.

When my pool guy sets up the features .. he should know how to add the features, lights etc..I assume

If your panel is logged in then you are done with the network setup and everything is working.

I would not assume that at all. Pool guys in general do not understand automation and the best ways to set things up. See how he does and we can help you as needed.

Come back to this thread for more help.

I will, thank you so much. This is so far out of my element but am trying and appreciate all the experts

Its not you. Lots of folks get stuck on this area of the setup. Pentair did not do a good job of explaining the steps to do. And as you found their support people are not better then their documentation.

Ok… we have gotten everything working but 1 problem left… when the pool turns off the salt chlorine generator doesn’t turn off

Likely not properly wired to the Filter Pump Relay. So us a picture of the relays.

EDIT -- I see you posted the picture earlier in the thread. Will have to look at the wiring closely, but appears to me the upper left relay has nothing on the Load side. The SWCG should be wired to the LOAD side.

There’s no power center… it has a salt water card.
That’s what my pool guy is saying to me.

The transformer for the SWCG is in your high voltage area. You can see it in your picture. Lower right. Right on it it states it is to be powered from the Filter Pump Relay LOAD side.
