Intellicenter turning on Spa if I turn on either pool or spa

Hi there,

We had some short power outages this morning, and when our pool was supposed to start our scheduled run at 12pm I noticed the spa came on, not the pool. The app says the pool is running, but it’s actually running the spa. It shuts down fine via both the app and the intellicenter, but only the spa runs no matter what I try. I’ve reset everything, but still no luck.
Our Pentair guy is on vacation and I’ve done some googling to no avail. Anyone have any idea of things I can check or do? Thanks!

Your actuator valves are probably in the wrong direction. You change that with the toggle switch on the side of the actuator.

Show us pictures of your valves in POOL mode and SPA mode.

In both modes they appear to be the same. 2 light is flashing on and off, while the auto/off is flashing green and red.

Looks like they are in SERVICE mode.

The operating instructions are on the cover panel.

Press the center MODE button and see if SERVICE goes off and AUTO turns green.

Show me the rest of your equipment pad and plumbing so we can see which direction is your POOL.

Haha. So I’ve changed the mode to auto, but the lights circled around to 24 and stayed there (on both). Now the POOL works on both pool and spa, and the spa doesn’t work at all. I tried to circle the numbers back, but every time I press to auto again it circles back to 24. Pic and whole pad attached.

That is progress.

In AUTO you press the yellow or red arrows to move the valve to the other setting. Try that and see if the valves moves between 24 for POOL and 0 for SPA.

BTW, I view it is builder malpractice to not label all pipes.

Possible that the home position got reversed

Changing Home Position: If the current diverter home position which the diverter moved to is not the desired home position for the application, simply press and release both the Red and Yellow arrow buttons simultaneously to move the diverter home position to the opposite end point. This is now the diverter home position. For more information see page 11.
