IntelliCenter Spa Mode

You need to set the Rheem heater to setpoint to 104F and leave it there.

The IntelliCenter does not communicate the setpoint to the Rheem heater.

Thanks Allen. I cannot find a way to regain control of the heater control panel. I put the IC in service mode but that didn't help. I saw something that said on Raypak hold the UP/DOWN arrows for 5 secs to regain control. Understanding that Raypak/Rheem are normally the same I tried that to no effect. Is there something I need to do in IC to make it happen? Thanks again.

How is your heater control wired to the IntelliCenter?

Is it a 2 wire connection to Gas Heater J2?

Thanks a lot for that Allen. I guess my installer skipped that step. All I checked when he left, early last spring, is that the heater responded to the IC. And it did to a point I guess.

So is the path to fix this as simple as
  1. power down at the pad
  2. disconnect the 2-wire at the IC
  3. power up
  4. use the steps you noted above to max the set points on the Rheem
  5. power down
  6. connect the 2-wire at the IC
  7. power up
Or I can just have the installer back out.

Thanks again
