Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone has any experience wiring equipment so that it will only turn on when the pump is running? I see there is the option to group "circuits", so my thought was maybe to group it into the "Pool" circuit... but I could use some specifics on if anyone has successfully done this already?

Thank you for your incredible expertise!!

Mike,

That is the purpose of the Pump/Filter relay. That relay will only close when in the Pool mode or Spa mode and the pump should be running.

The only thing that really needs to be controlled that way is a SWCG.

What do you want to control?

Thanks,

Jim R.

Hi Jim!

Thank you - that's what it looked like from the Intellicenter manual but I was hoping someone would confirm - I really appreciate it!

I am replacing a Clearwater OZ-50 Ozone generator with the Paramount Clear03 system which will be paired with the already installed Paramount UltraUV2 to create an AOP system. We were originally pushed in this direction by builder (built 3 years ago) due to the auto-cover by the builder.

I've read the guides on TFP, and totally agree O3/AOP is NOT an alternative to chlorine. When the O3 generator was working it made the water smell and feel amazing (fiends & family all commented on how nice it was) and I could keep the FC where it needed to be with around 1-2 lbs of shock (16k gallon pool/spa) every other day. Since it broke I'm doing about 6-8x that to keep things where they need to be. The heavy chemicals at night mean I can't use the auto-cover so I'm losing heat and all of the tree droppings are a huge pain to clean every day.

Thanks again for the quick reply Jim! I spent a lot of time looking for answers in the forums and found a lot of your comments, thanks for providing so much advice to the community!

All the best,

Mike
