Intellicenter / Intelliflow connection issue

I have an Intellicenter and a Pentair Intelliflo VSF pump that runs my in-floor system. It's about three years old, and a few weeks ago, had to have it serviced due to a leak. When the service guys did the repair, they did not reconnect the cable from the pump to the Intellicenter. I reconnected the cable myself, but the Intellicenter does not appear to recognize the pump any longer. The display does not say "display not active" and can be manually controlled with the buttons on the pump. Does anyone know if there is an extra step that I should be doing besides just reconnecting the cable? I contacted the service company that did the work and they have not been helpful (and are very backed up due to the season) so I figured it was worth troubleshooting myself before escalating the situation. Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Everything looks good there. See below. And I can interact with the app normally but when I try to turn it on manually, nothing happens.

This, from the dashboard view. The filter pump is running; #2 is the floor cleaner pump.

You have two VS pumps. Are they both not working?

VSF #1 is the filter pump - that is working fine. VSF #2 is the floor cleaner pump, and was working fine until they serviced it. When they reassembled it, they forgot to reattach the cable. I reconnected the cable myself. I also tried killing the power to the pump and the Intellicenter. I'm wondering if there's another step I missed, or should it have recognized the pump when I plugged it back in (or when the power was cycled?).

Check that your floor cleaner pump is still set to address 2

What specific model pump are we discussing?

Check the pump comm cable to connected in the IntelliCenter.

This is the VSF, model 11056. The cable appears to fit loosely, and I took a look at the connector and I have a bad feeling they broke the connector to the pump. Took a photo and the connection on the pump end only has one pin. Pretty sure it's supposed to have two.

Definitely supposed to have two pins. Now you know why they left it hanging.

Pentair does not sell the pump socket alone. What I would do is open up the pump, remove the socket, cut off the plug from the cable, feed the cable through the hole, and connect the green and yellow wires directly to the green and yellow wires that went to the pump socket using wire splices.

Thanks - here's a photo. Pretty sure that's what happened. I did look online and the Display kit 357527Z does seem to have that connector included, though I am trying to verify that (it's about $250 for that kit.). I might just take your suggestion, though being exposed (and in Arizona, where there's a lot of dust all the time) I'd want either to find the part or at least seal the Crud out of that connection to prevent dust and moisture getting in. Thanks for your help!

Yup, seal the hole the wire passes through very well.

Looks like this does include it...

You will probably also need a new cable if you replace the socket. The broken pin is probably stuck in the cable connector.

The new Intelliflow3 pumps did away with the proprietary connectors and just provide screw connections in the pump to connect a cable to. No special cable is needed. Any 2 wire 18 gauge cable will do.

That is the kit I saw, and have reached out to Pentair to confirm that the part is the same and is included in that kit. I am also looking into some options to just replace both connectors - the green connector end inside the pump looks pretty standard, and there are tons of waterproof pass-through connectors out there with any number of pins (no need for seven if we are only using two, right?) Might be possible to just replace the pass-through and cut off the end of the cable and replace with a new male end as well. Seems like a fun project, and if I do that I'll report back in case others run into this issue. I did look at my cable and there is no sign of the pin stuck there, so it may be bent inside the connector on the pump or just broken off and on the ground somewhere.

Thanks again for the help!

Something like this looks like it would work, though I'd need to measure for sizing. And you need to be able to solder. But otherwise this might be the best answer.
