IntelliCenter and VS pump speed

Ok… the tech guy said that I have two many returns and running the pump at anything lower than 2800 rpm won’t push enough water… hence him setting it up as more of an on/off switch at one speed.

Not sure I buy it. I told him to give me the cable and I’ll hook it up.

I think I have maybe four returns in the pool and maybe two more in the spa that are connected to the main pool pump. Not sure if his logic tracks.

I don't even know what that means. Enough water for what? To create Niagra Falls?

He doesn't get to determine how to connect the pump. It should be connected how the instruction manual states to connect it. And leave it to you to determine the best way you want to run it.

Geez I hate incompetence.

The whole thing is so frustrating. Unfortunately the pool was installed two seasons ago and I bought the house 9 months ago. So technically, they don’t owe me anything. They agreed to give me the cables — I’m sure I can do it myself. Fingers crossed.

We'll help you.

I just spoke to the pool place. They told me they think it was set up wirelessly and not with a cable. I told him that’s not possible… He’s going to have the tech guy call me.
I think he’s missing some wires in his head. I’d be highly highly impressed if that pump is set up wirelessly.

Get a Cable and get it set up correctly
