starting up my pool this year and last I'm having trouble with the intake side of the chlorinator leaking. I have replaced the oring and still can't get a leak free seal. Does anyone have any recommendations or thing they've tried that work consistentantly?

Are you overtightening the union?
You should hand tighten the union. If you overtighten it you deform the O ring and ruin the seal.
