I have an old inground pool that came with the house. I am changing out the light bulb. I have a sealed beam pool light. One of the o-rings is confusing me. It looks like the o-ring comes cut and then you have to seat the o-ring then put some glue to keep the o-ring in a connected ring shape. Does anyone have any experience with using this type of o-ring? What glue to I use to keep the o-ring together. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The light is a Hayward sealed beam pool light. The sticker says No. R-991984. I can't find any resources that provide information on replacing one of these lights for my pool. It must be really old. So I am desperate to find some guidance on how to change out this light.
