Hello, I am new here. Had been considering installing my own inground pool kit but am now leaning towards hiring a pool company. Have talked to mainly 2 companies. We are wanting a vinyl liner pool. One company uses Polymer walls and the pricing is coming in just above 80k. Another company is doing a fully inground "Radiant" pool. They are coming in around 56k. Looking it up and im finding mostly info on aboveground or semi inground radiant pools. We are looking to do a fully inground pool and that is what this pool builder is recommending with the "Radiant" pool. It is apparently 2" thick wall panel with aluminum on the exteriors and foam on the inside. They claim it to be strong and well insulating. Im nervous about this product though as ive never heard of it and have always heard of either regular steel walls or polymer walls. We are doing salt water also if that makes any difference. Also this is an 18x36 "Mountain Lake" (Name varies). Curious if anyone has any experience with these fully inground radiant pools or any recommendations or cautions.
