How do you use a test kit to test inside? I feel like without the sunlight the test will be inaccurate. Is there anyway to still do the test?

The cya test is the only one that’s best done outdoors but any room with bright light will work.

Free chlorine, fas-dpd, tests from pink to clear. Inside or outside clear is clear. TA, CH are also distinct color changes that can be viewed just as well inside as outside with bright enough light indoors. I have the speed stir that I turn the test light on, too.

I, personally, take the pH test outside for consistency for matching the colors with natural sunlight. At eye level, I use a white card behind the comparator with the sun behind me. The CYA test should be done outside with the sun behind you and the vial at your waist.
