Info Coverstar rope

Hi everyone
I have a Coverstar pool cover one of the ropes Has pulled out the other side is ok it was wrapped around the motor wheel have untangled that but a bit confused as to where it attaches too at the pool end the other side has a rope inside the Chanel and looks to go under the edging stones of the pool do I have to take them up either side ?
Any information would be appreciated it’s 12 years old

I have a different brand of cover, so not sure if its the same, but we found a bunch of videos on You Tube the showed how to do repair work on the covers.
My Infinity4000 manual also addressed how to deal with ropes. Check online for a Coverstar manual.
