I am running my pump 24/7 right now. I would like to run it at a lower flow rate than the 30 required for the heat pump, but am struggling with how to configure it the HP to call for an increase in pump speed when needed then to return when the call is no longer needed.

I've read the following threads, here, here, and here. I feel like the last one is getting me there...almost, but not quite. It is almost as I am missing a step or not completing one. I've read the manual, but again, feel like I'm almost there, but not quite.

The last image is a screen shot of my pump page in the ios app.

Any pointers or help?

It seems automation gets confused when you mix RPM control and GPM control.

Change your Pool Heater circuit to an RPM that gives you the needed flow and report back how things work.

Thanks. I changed it all to RPMs (set to 1930) to give me 31GPM and unfortunately, that did not resolve the problem.

As you have the Lite version of the ET, check that you only have a total of 4 schedules and egg timers (other than 12 hours) in total. That is all that system will allow.

Solved: It would seam that using the "Solar Active" selection in the Intelliflo Setup with the desired RPM will do what I needed. Now I can run at 1200 ish RPM and have the heat pump/chiller set at my desired range having the pump spin up while calling for heat/cool.

Thanks, everyone.

Does it work with mixed RPM and GPM settings?
