In-Wall Entry Steps

Hello All!
35 years of dreaming of a pool and hitting a wall (hubby felt that Colorado doesn't have a long enough swim season)-our beautiful grandbaby asked her Papaw "will you build me an ocean?" and so last year we joined the family of pool owners. We decided to start with a soft sided pool and make sure it was worth the investment of both money and time. Probably no surprise to those on this forum, but we LOVED it! It was a ton of work to put in but we used it almost every day and made the decsion to "upgrade" to a more permanent above ground before last summer was even over. We have decided on the Doughboy Saratoga and wanted to get thoughts from the folks on this forum on the In-Wall Entry system. It is a considerable cost and we are wondering if anyone has had experience with these or similar entry systems from other brands? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Do you have a picture of said entry? If it is what I think it is it will not take up any of the "swim" space so could be a good thing!

I don't have that (yet!), but it's exactly what I want when I upgrade. I think it would be worth the extra. I hope you post pics of your build!

Heart melting. We now have grandkids starting to talk. My #1 Grandson in my avatar and he now clasps his arms around my neck and kicks like mad as we swim around the pool. Pure joy. :goodjob:

My granddaughter, in my avatar, uses the pool every day that she's here. She loves to swim.

I loved everything about them EXCEPT the prices quoted from the local dealers (also the installation location on the oval pools is limited).
Locally, those steps bump the pool cost an additional 20% (not including decking).

You are so right-I about fell over when I got the quote!! The price was exactly why I turned to the forum! In the end, we have decided to "bite the bullet" and add the steps to our purchase. Our goal is to have an above ground pool that looks and feels more like an inground pool and trying not to treat this as a "temporary" purchase. It will be more expensive, but nothing compared to the price of an inground in our area! We will be picking it up next weekend and have decided to take our time and install it ourselves. There will be plenty of pics (and questions) coming your way!
