Some rocks have minerals like iron that stain when those minerals are exposed to chlorine / water . We replaced out jump rock with a dive platform to solve this . But I’d like to attach a diving board to the platform . I wonder if that’s possible

It's possible, But one thing you'll need to know is how the platform is anchored to the decking. Do you have drawings of how that was done?
