In ground pool vacuum

Hi there , I have an inground pool with 2500 gallons. Our vacuum was working correctly until this year. We got a new hose last year but we cant seem to get constant suction. I get suction when I put my hand over the hose but it's not strong like it use to be. We tried almost everything I can think of. Had our scum sock on to collect the dirt. Had it on inside and outside the basket . Even tried it without the bag. Played with the valves and couldn't get any more suction.Need some advice before I have to call the pool man. agh Please help

I figured out what we had to do.We started by trying to clear the lines in case they was a clog. Then we cleaned the cel and the filter. Next we cleaned out the window values. While cleaning them I noticed the seal was old to we replaced them with new ones and boom that was it.Works like a charm now!
