Imagine Illusion 40 Complete 10/19/21

I shut my pools power off today because we disconnected the bonding wire. I shut the pump off first and then shut the power off at the box. The concrete guys disconnected the bonding wire from my heater and pump and walked it over to the pool. It laid there until they were done forming my new concrete. They hooked it back up and I turned the power back on to the box and I'm getting power to everything except my pump. My lights, SWG, outlet n heater all work but I'm not getting anything to the pump. What am I missing or could have happened? Nobody went near the pump/equipment except to unhook n rehook the bonding wire. Can anyone help me trouble shoot this. I have shut everything off up at the breaker from pool up to the garage and even powered off my wifi n turned back on and still no power to the pump. I'm just scratching my head n hoping to figure it out before my builder gets here tomorrow with the electrician to troubleshoot it. It's all Jandy.

What model Jandy VSP? Your siggy just says Jandy VSP.

Did you check the GFCI reset on the CB?

Post pics of the pump and the CB.

Confirm you have no automation and no timer for the pump.

Here are the pics n the manuals.

I don't know what happened n I'm getting frustrated. I got no power to it n I dont know why or how to fix it. :brickwall:🤬🤬🤬🤬

If you press the 'Test' button on the GFCI pump breaker, does it trip as expected? Try resetting the breaker by flipping it off and then back on.

I did hit it n it went to the middle so it works. I was reading the manual n it said something about shutting it off for 5 minutes to drain voltage? I have it shut off at the breaker.

I've been flipping it n the only thing coming on is my temper. I got nothing.

I
picture of the pump? (not just the remote panel) include all wires/conduits that go to it.
I'm uploading a video of my pump for you to see. Just give it a few minutes to get ready. I never had an issue before. I don't know why it's taking a fit right now.

Warm weather is coming. I see next week in Jersey its gonna be warmer and you are on the same latitude as me so get er ready!! BTW for those int he Northeast, is it me or does it seem that we are getting higher winds almost constantly all the time the last couple of years? I should put a wind turbine in for God's sake!!
yes to the winds it's non stop of late

I've flipped it back n forth several times. There is absolutely no power going to the pump. It's so weird.

Its not a picture, so i cannot zoom in. However i could swear that i see some sort of jacket damage to the RS485 cable as it egresses the pump wiring box.
It could be dirt.
I suspect they accidentally pulled that cable when they were working on the bonding wire and its now either unplugged from the board, or a wire was pulled from the connector (either pin 1 or pin 4, as they provide power to the controller). However - if your not testing, your guessing. I would be opening that cover and checking everything with the multi-meter.
Also note the manual says to wait 5 minutes before re-applying power via circuit breaker, i would expect an error light if the pump was locked out though. Seems there is no power at the controller.

Is that what you are talking about? Makes sense, it looks like it may have been tugged on with the scraped insulation.

I fixed it without looking at these messages. I took a nap n woke up n went down to cover the pool. I was staring at the pump lid n said... Self... you didn't look in there. So I shut all the power down n opened it. I could see my red wire was sheared off. I'm wondering if one of those big hands accidentally grabbed the wire n gave it a tug? So I grabbed a pair of high tech fingernail clippers n pulled some of the red off n reattached it. I Have POWER!!!! Thanks guys!!!
