Been a long road to get here, but finally making progress. So far excavation, rebar and plumbing are done. My only concern so far is if the equipment pad is too close together since I was out of town when they did it.
do you mean you're concerned about the pipes for the equipment being too close together?
Definitely ask questions now. I was quite upset when the equipment for my remodel was put in so slap-dash. So many bends in the piping. For a new install, I expected a clean design! For example, the pipe coming into the pump/motor should run straight in from the valve, but it's got two 90° bends, then 3 bends to get into the filter, then 4 going from the filter behind and into the heater. #dumbdesign but I discovered it too late in the process.
Yes, exactly. The cement pad is pretty long but they only used a fraction of the space. I thought you wanted your equipment somewhat spaced out in case you need to work on it. It looks like everything is going to be crowded together or have lots of twists and turns like yours does.
