Idk what to do next...

Ok! So I don't even need to calculate/add any LC right now, correct?
Not at the moment. Once the FC falls to 20, you'll be at the proper SLAM level. From there, simply test as much as needed to maintain that FC of 20. At the same time, be sure to inspect and clean every area of the pool. The SLAM page has a lot of good tips.

Looks very good. Based on the elevated FC level you were at for a while and the condition of that water now, I don't expect you'll be in a SLAM too much longer. But don't let up. Stick with it. Once you believe the water is 100% crystal clear, you can test for CCs (0.5 or less) then consider doing an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test. You can read-up on that process now so you're familiar with it before starting.

Thank you, I'm very happy with it too!
Here are my numbers for this morning:
FC 25
CC 0
pH 8.2
TA 180
CH not tested
CYA 50
So it looks like some of these numbers changed without addition of any chemicals?🤔

Some of the tests may not be reliable when your FC is >= SLAM levels.

And that does not work. The thiosulfate changes the pH of the solution.
Noted... and the dream dies with a whimper, not a shout. :thumleft: I stand corrected.
I see this has been previously demonstrated here:

Question: is an electronic digital pH meter also affected by high chlorine levels?

Edit: this topic has been addressed here as well:

At this point, you have established that your CYA is 50, so you really don't need to keep testing it. Once a month will do to track seasonal depletion.
This will help you save on the re-agents for that test.
Did we mention that we are all for helping you SAVE money, instead of spending it?

I get your point, I did the full panel a couple times during this to familiarize myself with the procedures. I purchased the XL kit to allow for 'practice' testing and so that I would have enough of everything for the summer.

Still SLAMming. FC keeps dipping below target, but I just add what PM tells me to. Water still looks great. I was going to do OCLT this morning, but did not get out there in time. Going to watch my grandson' s baseball game. Happy Saturday everyone!
