Yes, I've read that before. I've also seen that with a heater it is recommended to keep the PH a little higher 7.5-7.6. Just looking for confirmation if that is correct.
I have the same heater and have to run my pH lower to manage CSI. No issues so far. I think manufacturers are so used to people not controlling their water chemistry that they are conservative.
