Yes, but only Pentair knows all the quirks of the cell.

Are is it normal for it to be off?

No, it is not normal but then your cell is not acting normally.

Tested my salt level this morning it is 4,050. Guess I will look into ordering a new salt cell this morning

At that tested level a new cell may trigger a high salt reading. Pentair’s standard variance is +/- 500 ppm so it could read 4050 as 4500 ppm and trigger the high salt light.

Those aren't the results we would typically see from the Taylor K1766 test kit. How did you test for salt?
