My iChlor 30 recently started showing CELL on the display. I opened it up and it had pretty good build-up (though I've seen photos online of much worse). I did an acid soak, which completed cleaned the fins, and put everything back together. It briefly ran properly, but starting showing CELL again within an hour (I wasn't watching it that closely).
I've had it for at least 4 years and I'm in South Florida, so it runs year-round.
Water temp is kept at 85 F.
Salt is at 3200 ppm.
Volume is about 9000 gallons.
Is it time for a new cell?
