IC40 Salt Reading 9900

My IC40 salt level has been creeping up almost weekly. I have repeatedly tested my salt level with my TF100 and I am constantly in the mid 3000s.

Is this something I should worry about?

Salty,

Sounds like the thermistor inside the flow switch is bad.

Something that I'd fix, but it will not keep the cell from making chlorine.

If this is a new pool, just have your pool builder or Pentair come out and fix it.

Thanks Jim, it is a new pool filled Feb 2022. Is there anything else that would be effected by the faulty thermistor?

Salty,

It is just there to provide water temp to the cell, when it is trying to determine the salinity levels.

It could also be a bad cell, so now it the time to get it fixed.
