I have an Intellichlor IC40 and the control panel won't light up. The fuse looks fine. I can't find any trouble shooting on-line. Does it self destruct after so many years and refuse to operate?
Hi! My panel has no lights it appears my unit has no power. I checked the fuse, it is good. Is this a common problem? It is old but the lights should still be on in my opinion. I opened the control panel and there is a tiny led light and that is still on. I don't know if that is significant and I can't find any help on-line if this means anything.
Update: I remembered I had an old IC40 and I plugged that in, power came on in that older unit.
The voltage that runs the cell is also the same voltage that turns on the lights. If the voltage from the power supply drops below about 25 volts, the cell will not have any lights.
How old is your cell? They usually last 5 to 8 years...
