IC40 Flow Light is Red

If shorting the red and black wires does not produce a green flow light, what would the next step be? I replaced the flow switch with a new one and there was still a red flow light and red and green flashing lights.

I cleaned my cell a few days ago and upon restarting the cell, the red flow light came on and the salt lights were flashing. I did a few tests to ensure I had good flow. I do. If shorting the red and black wires does not produce a green flow light, what would the next step be? I replaced the flow switch with a new one and there was still a red flow light and red and green flashing lights. In addition to this, when I stripped the red and black wires FROM the cell, they appeared darkened, the actual wire, but there was no obvious damage to the insulation on the outside of the wires?

Thank you sir. Well, I am a knucklehead. The part’s arrows and flow switch arm did not line up properly. The switch was slightly sideways in the cell. I backed off the threads a bit and it engaged. Thank you again.
