IC40 connected to easytouch

Hello, I need some help. I have an IC40 that’s connected to an Pentair Easytouch. My IC40 will only generate chlorine when I run the Super chlorinate feature. Does anyone know why? It calculates the PPM and the flow light turns on but the Cell light only turns on when i run the Super chlorinate. IC40 is a couple months old. Need help please!

Something is wrong for sure. You could have a bad cell, but I suspect a programming error or user issue.

Is 'IntelliChlor' set to enable in the set-up menu?

When the cell has lights, are any of the % of output lights on?

Are you adjusting the output % on the cell itself or via the automation?

Keep in mind that the cell light turns on and off as the cell is working. At 50% output the 'Cell" light will be on for 2.5 minutes and then off for 2.5 minutes.
