I would not ignore Walmart’s pool chemicals

There are still deals, but I could buy it and use it at once.
They had the whole schemer: salt, dry chlorine, wet chlorine, all the conditioners and PH ups and down. Mostly by Clorox .
I don't recall seeing such a marketing effort last year.

Clorox CYA
That is one of the few, possibly the only approved Chlorox product. The laundry bleach all has polymers added to it and the pool chems aren't even made by Chlorox. They sold their name for it and another company manufactures and distributes them. They are all 5 in 1 mystery potions, or 'Extra Blue' (with copper).

Their salt has troublesome levels of iron per several members.

Keep doing what you're doing and always make sure the bag of whatevs says 100%. It might not next time. (y)

Their cya used to be $12 & was truly the best deal around. Now the puritech wins out on the price per pound. Avoid the clorox salt it’s got purity issues & has been known to stain. I never buy any of the other stuff. The ch increaser is fine but I just don’t need any.
You may have run across some old stock to see such variety - our local Walmart & online is shifting to more hth stuff.
Praying they never drop the pool care basics stuff, the liquid chlorine & The only plain trichlor to be found if you happened to need some for vacation.
