I can visualise shapes (and spaces) really easily but not colours. I’ve just designed my own house (I’m a software engineer by trade!) and had to teach myself 3D modelling so I could add the colour to visualise it.
(the 3D modelling skills also became really useful when I could knock up some visualisations for the builders to *make sure* I got what I wanted)
Interestingly my wife couldn’t visualise stuff even with the models.

PM came and inspected chipout, said everything looked good no problems with shell or anything so he gave green light to schedule Tile & my little spot of travertine lol he said we should get a date from the scheduler's this week at least but not sure when it could be exactly 🤷‍♀️ I will take what I can get at this point lol

Ok so good and bad update, good is they will be here Tuesday for the travertine!! Now the bad: can't get my tile so I have to try & pick another one that they can get... they ordered mine back in feb for delivery end march and got an email today of not available right now & not sure when it will come in so my choice was to wait it out (yeah cuz IM SOOO patient) or try to get a diff tile, luckily I had a bunch of pics from when we went looking before so he's going to call the supplier directly as I pick to see

so far just the waterline ones & my bling ones are still good 🤞🤞🤞 so that's my day so far
 
So today just waiting to hear back if my "backup" tile choices are good enough, luckily I had a bunch of pictures on my phone to share so I numbered them by preference lol
 
OH I LIKE IT!!! The two tiles go together very well!!!

The is a tile you will want to dig through the boxes as there might be some that are ugly so you will want to hide them so they don't get used. Then were will be some that are so pretty you will put them on the far wall where your eyes first fall as you walk out to the pool!

that was my plan, I told him to get that tile before it disappeared too 😂
 
That is going to be amazing!

But inquiring minds want to know - what number pool builder did you go with, from your original list?

One last update for today:

travertine is Tuesday and then he said they will shotcrete the new "waterfall" bench so my daughter is super excited for that piece & her turtle lol
