The Walmart on Northwest freeway claims it's available for today, and 3 others nearby claim it's available for pickup tomorrow so at least one of the many by you has some.

Keep in mind, Houston can be 2 hours away from Houston, but you should be able to find some at a Walmart nearby wherever you are in Houston.
I checked online and I have 8 Walmarts < 10 miles from me (which is scary), 6 of them still had stock but 2 were sold out. I may stock up next time I'm in one for the winter as I would not expect them to be replenishing even though we still have time left in the swim season.

This is true!! I'm in Mont Belvieu. I went to the two Walmarts near me and it looked like they are clearing out all the pool stuff.

Every year, Walmart pulls the pool stuff out ~6 weeks before the end of pool season. It'll be 100 degrees this weekend but you can easily find pumpkin lattes.

My WalMart shows they are out of stock but I can buy online and have free delivery if I purchase seven gallons. I did this awhile back and it was very convenient.
Pinch a Penny always has liquid chlorine and it is fresh. Not sure where you are located in Houston but they have several stores - there are 2 out in Katy where I live
I'm a couple hours the other side, Mont Belvieu...Lowes restocked though!!!
