Huge agp skimmers?

I keep seeing pictures of AGP with these huge skimmers hanging on the sides. What's the deal with those?

I have a Hayward widemouth and it looks tiny compared to these things, they almost touch the ground.

I wish I had saved a picture because now I can't find one.

Those are Summer Waves pools, and I think that's a pump, a filter and a skimmer combined. At least I think that's the deal. SW owners, feel free to chip in!

No, these are actual steel wall AGPs with a pump and filter.

Those are doughboy deluxe skimmers. Its got a special vacuum port on it.

That’s the skimmer I have. Looks normal to me bc that’s all I’ve had. That pool is buried so it looks bigger in other photo. I don’t like how it needs a hard to get adapter for it to plumb with pvc. Also don’t know how to get the vacuum port to work. Skimmer was $50 upgrade when I bought the pool.

Definitely a doughboy. As soon as you see the skimmer boxes you know that's a Doughboy pool.
