Bought a house with a salt water pool with attached spa and sand filter in January of 2020. When we first uncovered it I was really wondering what I had gotten myself into. It was dark green, filled with leaves and had a pieced together control panel(that could of electrocuted someone). I'm not totally new to pools, we had a large above ground chlorine pool with a sand filter when I was growing up. My dad taught me how to take care of the pool, so that was one of my chores. Salt water has been a bit of a learning experience though, I do generally have crystal clear water however.
