How to Replace Rotten Frame Underneath

Hello, my husband and I have a 10-15 year old hot springs Aria. The base of the hot tub has become completely rotten and needs to be replaced. How do we work underneath?? Dry weight of the tub is ~700 lbs. If we tip it on the side empty will that distress the fiberglass too much? Or could we somehow jack it up? How is this normally done? We were having a leak which has been fixed, but that means we’ve removed a good bit of the spray foam. Should we get that part put back together first for structural stability? Thanks for the help.

Stand it on it's side and do what you need to do. However, with a rotted frame and wet foam there is a fair chance it could be further damaged by standing it up. Have plenty of people there in case something goes wrong and everyone knows if it starts to fall, get out of the way don't try to save it. Better a ruined spa than a ruined life.

Got it, thank you! We’ll see what we can do with it!
